To meet the rapid growth needs of the university, we are seeking 100 ambitious overseas talents with doctorate degrees to join our community.

Located in Chongqing, a noted historic and cultural city in China, Chongqing Normal University(CQNU) is a multi-disciplinary university with science and liberal arts being its focal points. Job Types and Subject Areas

Based on the school’s municipal-level “Work Station for Attracting Overseas Talents”, we are inviting high calibre candidates in the following subject areas within the corresponding schools.

Qualifications and Experience

To be a successful candidate, you will hold a PhD appropriate in at least one of the subject areas mentioned above. And at present you should be still working or studying outside Chinese mainland and have not contracted with any institutions or organizations in China. Besides, in principle you will not exceed the age of 50.

Contract Type, Salary and Benefits

1. Contract Term

The employment duration will be 2 years on a full-time basis. And the period of validity for your entry is within 6 months from the day the contract is signed.

The tenure will be renewed only when the contract expires and your professional performance is evaluated. And during the employment, the employment relationship can be terminated if the your resignation is approved by the university authority.

2. Transportation allowance

Those who have been employed will be granted a transportation allowance of ¥30,000 (CNY).

3. Salary

The salary will be ¥200,000(CNY) per annum.

4. Research funding

For those engaging in experimental subjects will be granted a research funding of ¥40,000 (CNY) per annum, and those in non-experimental subjects ¥20,000 (CNY) per annum. The funding will be appropriated in the first two years during the employment period.

5. Basic Social Insurances

During the employment period, you will be assured with urban employee basic social insurances.
